 Yalova’s Saturday team returned with a bang, smashing double digits past lower league opposition, Colo Junior.
The second Weekend Cup 2009-10 Group C match between the teams was fairly comfortable for the Yellow Ones with Nevzat Soyadli grabbing 4, a brace each for Huseyin Yildiz and Umit Ansal and a goal apiece for Hakan Guzel and David Smiley.
This emphatic win puts Yalova in contention to progress from the group to the quarter-finals. The current table looks like this with the top two qualifying for the next round:
