A slow start meant the Yellow Ones found themselves 0-2 down inside the opening 20 minutes.  Instead of crumbling however, the home team fought back and were unlucky to see THREE efforts come back off the woodwork and a further THREE cleared off the line before Mustafa Baskal pulled a goal back in the 81st minute.

This goal gave the yellow-and-navy side hope and with the final kick of the game, David Smiley was on hand to slam home an equalizer from a goal mouth scramble and force the tie into extra-time.

Yalova were still the dominant force and despite having yet another effort cleared off the line and a strong penalty shout waved away, they had to settle for a penalty shootout.  Elite Youth went first converting 4 of their 5 penalties, whilst Yalova missed 2 from 4 to bow out after a spirited fight back.

Next week Yalova play champions Park View in the Federation Cup final.
