Yalova Youth FCLondon Football Association (LFA) have affiliated Yalova Youth FC (YYFC) following the club’s fulfillment of all mandatory requirements necessary to running youth football teams.

As part of the process, Savas Kal was appointed Club Welfare Officer following his successful completion of ‘FA Safeguarding Children’ and ‘FA Club Welfare Officer’ workshops.  As well as regular club welfare duties, Kal will also be responsible for verifying all YYFC coaching appointments by ensuring candidates possess necessary FA coaching qualifications and are CRB checked.

Commenting of YYFC becoming affiliated, Head of Youth Development Hasan Djemal said, “I am delighted that Yalova Youth has officially launched and we are now in a position to move forward with yet another addition to our club.  In 2008 we reformed Yalova FC after a 2-year break by entering the London Football Championship and becoming champions at the first attempt before following it up with the cup.  In 2009 we re-entered Yalova FC into the Turkish League and gained promotion in our return season.  Now in 2010, we have added Yalova Youth FC catering for players aged as young as 4 through to 17.  Our aim is to continue this momentum and make the Yalova Community as far reaching as possible.”

Following LFA’s approval, YYFC are eligible to participate in the Cheshunt Youth Football League for which they were accepted into, subject to affiliation, earlier this month.  To help mark this historic occasion YYFC have also been provided with a new exclusive badge (pictured).

Yaloavafc.com would like to welcome YYFC into the Yalova family and wish everyone involved the very best of luck!
